« Just when I was starting to be able to live from music, I also started to love it less. » LK de l'Hôtel Moscou opens with a tension many independent artists know: the moment business starts eating into passion.

A quiet pioneer of French cloud rap, LK has 30 years of music behind him, including 11 years in London, and now lives in the Channel Islands. He has always done things his own way and at his own pace, without bending to the industry's logic.

With Nikkfurie and Abdallah Slaiman, he talks about hybridity as an identity (a Chinese father, Vietnam, 60s psychedelia, the French suburbs), mental health in rap at a time when nobody talked about it, his choice to keep a job alongside music, and the freedom of owing nothing to anyone, his condition for creating.

He also shares the first news of Limites et Contours, his upcoming double EP, available first on HYK. His track « Starifié » is on his HYK page.
